Larry Smith is a co-founder and the Chairman of GreenSky.
Mr. Smith was employed at The Home Depot, the world's largest home improvement retailer and second largest retailer in the United States, from 1983 through 2002. For the first seventeen years at The Home Depot, Mr. Smith served as the company's General Counsel. From 2000-2002, Mr. Smith served as Senior Vice President-Executive Services. Since 2004, Mr. Smith has been a partner in GreenSky.
Mr. Smith is a 1969 graduate of the University of Bridgeport, Bridgeport, CT and received his law degree from Brooklyn Law School, Brooklyn, NY in 1975.
Mr. Smith is an active member of the community and serves on civic boards of Kennedy-Kreiger Foundation, and the Marcus Foundation. Mr Smith serves on the Board of Trustees of the Devereux Foundation and is the chairman of the Devereux Georgia Advisory Board. Devereux provides services for over 15,000 people with emotional, developmental and educational disabilities in the facilities located in eleven states. |
